Biography

(1958, Alma-Ata) - ballet expert, ballet critic. Holder of the "Kurmet" Order (2019).

Graduated from the Kirov Kazakh State University (1978-1982); Faculty of Theater Studies at the V.A. Lunacharsky GITIS (1986-1997), workshop of N.I. Eliash.

1982-1986 - assistant to the Head of the production part in the Abay SAOBT. In 2003, she was invited to television, where she became the author of a number of documentaries and programs on the national TV channels “Kazakhstan”, “Khabar”, “Madeniet”, “Bilim zhane Madeniet”: “Art Events”, live broadcast “After Midnight” , an anthology of the artists of Kazakhstan "Suret-Gumyr", "Magic of Movement", "Art Sphere", "Diagonals of Creativity", TV version of classical music concerts "TV Concert Hall", "Legends and Myths of the Opera House", "The Open Score", "Non-random encounters”, “Aksaray”, “Concert hall”, “Dala auyeni”. The author and presenter of more than a thousand programs on national TV channels, author and director of documentaries. Currently, the author and presenter of the programs: "Premiers", "About Dance" (TV channel "Abai TV").

Since 2001, founder (jointly with G. Adamova) and director of the PF "Center for Contemporary Choreography", director of the Central Asian Contemporary Dance Festival (2006-2011), within which 7 International festivals, master classes with famous foreign choreographers were held.

In different periods, she taught courses on the history of modern dance at the Faculty of Choreography of the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts (1995-1997, 2015-2019), Kazakh National Academy of Choreography (2019-2022), seminars on the history of modern dance (Institute of Cultural Policy of the RK, 2000-2001), "Practical Course of Ballet Criticism" at the A.V. Seleznev ACS (2017-2019).

Since 2017 - the official expert of Eurasian Dance Festival (Kazakhstan, Astana). As a ballet critic, she took part in the International festivals and competitions: New Baltic Dance Festival (Lithuania, Vilnius, 2001-2011), "Open Look" Contemporary Dance Festival (Russia, St. Petersburg, 2002), East-East Festival (France, Sens, 2004), III International Ballet Competition (Astana, 2016).

She is the author of more than 100 articles on the choreographic art of Kazakhstan in the republican periodicals: "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda", "New Generation", "Nomad-Kazakhstan", "Baiterek", "Search", "Altyn Art", etc. The author of the section "Modern dance in Kazakhstan" in the book "Choreographic Art of Kazakhstan" (2005); chapters on modern choreographers of Kazakhstan in the book "Modern Dance of the Post-Soviet Space" (2013); co-author of publications dedicated to R. Bapov (2017), E. Malbekov (2021); co-author of the anniversary book-album "ASTANA BALLET" (2019); author of the book "Altynay Asylmuratova - Ballerina Assoluta" (2021).

Awards: Medal "Halyk algysy" (2020), Badge of the MCS RK "Madeniet salasynyn uzdigi" (2018), Journalistic Award "Altyn Tomiris" (2021), Russian Award "TEFI-Commonwealth" (2012), "Best Ballet Critic" (Eurasian Dance Festival, 2019). At various times, she was awarded Diplomas of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the RK (2019, 2021), the Republican Television and Radio Corporation "Kazakhstan" (2003-2004, 2007-2008); JSC Agency "Khabar" (2015).
