Biography
(20.07.1962, Alma-Ata) - dancer. Honored Artist of the KazSSR (1990).
Graduated from Almaty Choreographic School (1975-1980), teachers: N.Ya. Akhunov, G.N.Beisenova, T.Z.Malbekova, S.I. Kusherbayeva, M.Z. Akhmedieva; Al-Farabi Chimkent Pedagogical Institute of Culture. (1986).
1980-1997 - soloist of the State Honored Song and Dance Ensemble of the KazSSR (then the "Saltanat" State Dance Ensemble (1989). Since 2004, she is the director of creative programs of the Eurasian Cultural Fund.
She is a bright, diverse dancer; she has natural flexibility, plasticity, softness and expressiveness of hands, performance technique, and temperament. Solo repertoire: "Syrian dance", "Gypsy dance", "Tatar dance", Afghan dance "Nashkanad", "Bukhara dance", "Sholpy", "Aizhankyz", "Shashu", "Virgin land", etc. She is the first performer of "Syrian dance" (staged by People's Art of the USSR G.B. Izmailova), "Sholpy" (staged by People's Artist of KazSSR Z.M. Raibayev), "Gypsy Dance" (staged by V. Muntyan). She made a great contribution to the development of dance performing arts of Kazakhstan.
As part of the delegation of masters of arts of Kazakhstan, she performed in France, Spain, Iraq, Yugoslavia, East Germany, Germany, Korea, Turkey, Czechoslovakia, Austria, Hungary, etc., and on tours of the State Song and Dance Ensemble performed on the stages of the republics of the USSR and Kazakhstan.
Awards: Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Almaty City Committee (1989).
