Biography

(01.07.1981, Alma-Ata) – set designer.

Graduated from the Republican Art College on specialty “Sculptor” (1993- 1999); Art and Graphic Faculty of the Abay Almaty State University on specialty “Interior and Exterior Design” (1999-2003); Master’s program on specialty “Easel Painting” (2003-2006).

He worked in the field of outdoor advertising, took part in the design of pop concerts, city and republican events.

2010-2013 – production designer, set designer of the film studio, later the main artist in the studio of computer graphics and animation at the Shaken Aimanov “Kazakhfilm”. Since 2013, he has been the Head of the scenery manufacturing workshop at the “Astana Opera” SOBT; since 2016 – the Head of the scenery manufacturing workshop of the “Astana Ballet” Theatre.

He is the production designer of the ballet performances of the “Astana Ballet” Theatre: “The Nutcracker” (2017) staged by A. Asylmuratova, “Zhelturanga” (2020) choreography by A. Sadykova. In 2021, he acted as a stage designer for the ballet “Romance of the Rosebud and the Butterfly” per- formed by the students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, staged by V. Medvedev (choreography by M. Petipa).
