Biography
(12.02.1911, Tbilisi - ???) - ballet dancer, teacher. Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR (1943).
She graduated from the ballet studio at the People's Commissariat of Education of Georgia in Tbilisi. Since 1931 she worked in Tashkent, Baku, Kyiv, Gorky, Leningrad.
1937-1945 - prima ballerina of the Abay Theater. The repertoire includes solo parts: Odette-Odile ("Swan Lake"), Swanhilda ("Coppelia"), Tsar- Maiden ("The Little Humpbacked Horse"), Raymonda ("Raymonda"), Giselle ("Giselle"), Maria (" Fountain of Bakhchisarai"), Laurencia ("Laurencia"). Her performance skills were distinguished by artistry, deep penetration into the image, and professionalism. She combined the stage activity with teaching. 1939-1941 taught classical dance at the Kazakh Choreographic School.
