Biography

One-act performance in the style of modern choreography.

Music - Kuat Shildebayev, archival musical materials of the Kurmangazy State Conservatory. Choreography, libretto, scenography and costumes - Gulmira and Gulnara Gabbasovs.

The premiere took place in June 2004 as part of the International Informal Theater Project "Formal Theatre" on the stage of the Republican German Drama Theatre.

At the call of our ancestors through the traditions of our people, we want to find our origins. Expulsion of an evil spirit, tusau kesu (cutting the fetters), sundetke otyrgyzu (circumcision), aldiyay (lullaby), ansau (nostalgia), daret (ablution before prayer), otan ana (motherland). The attitude of modern human to national traditions, the spiritual culture of his ethnic group is depicted.
