Biography

27.08.1937, Grozny, RSFSR.

Ballet dancer, teacher-tutor. Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR (1984), Laureate of the independent Prize "Tarlan" (2006).

1947-1956 – student of Baku Choreographic School at the M. F. Akhundov Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theatre in the class of G. G. Almaszade. In 1956, being a graduate, she danced the role of Masha in the ballet “The Nutcracker” staged by V. Vainonen.

1956-1962 – ballet soloist of the M. F. Akhundov Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theatre. She made her debut as Maria in the ballet (“The Fountain of Bakhchisarai”) headed by the ballet master R. Zakharov, who at that time was revising his performance on the Baku stage (1957). Repertoire: pas-de-trois, brides, large swans ("Swan Lake"), Princess Florine, Tenderness Fairy, Lilac Fairy ("Sleeping Beauty", Masha ("The Nutcracker"), inserted pas-de-de of Act II, friends, two Wilis, Myrtha (“Giselle”), Maria (“The Fountain of Bakhchisarai”), Friend, dance with castanets (“Laurencia”, production ballet master V. Chabukiani), The Most Beautiful, Harem Girl (“Seven Beauties”), Malvina (“Golden Key”, choreography by G. Almaszade), 7th Waltz (“Chopiniana”), Jeanne (first performance on the stage of the M.F. Akhundov Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theatre “Les millions de'Arlequin”), Sari (“The Path of Thunder”), Bacchante (“Walpurgis Night”).

1962-1965 – soloist of the A.S. Pushkin Moldavian Opera, Ballet and Drama Theater (Kishinev, Moldavian SSR). She made her debut as Odette-Odile (“Swan Lake”). Repertoire: Laurencia (first performance, "Laurencia"), Maria ("The Fountain of Bakhchisarai"), Giselle, Myrtha ("Giselle" choreographer N. Fedorova), Ice Maiden ("Solveig"), Anel (first performance in the A.S. Pushkin Moldavian Opera, Ballet and Drama Theater), Francis (“The Blue Danube”), Aurora (first performance in the A.S. Pushkin Moldavian Opera, Ballet and Drama Theater), Lilac Fairy (“The Sleeping Beauty”), production ballet master S. M. Tulubyeva).

1965-1980 – leading soloist of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. She made her debut as Odette-Odile (“Swan Lake”). Repertoire: Aurora, Princess Florine, Tenderness Fairy, Lilac Fairy ("Sleeping Beauty"), Masha ("The Nutcracker"), Giselle, Myrtha ("Giselle"), Fanny ("Great Waltz"), Nikiya (first performance at the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre"La Bayadère") Kitri, Queen of the Dryads ("Don Quixote"), Maria ("Fountain of Bakhchisarai"), Aiday (first performance on the stage of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre"Cholpon") production ballet master U. Sarbagishev), Bacchante ("Walpurgis Night"), Paquita (“Paquita”), Aegina (first performance at the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre“Spartacus”) production ballet master N. M. Yananis, the Firebird (the first performance at the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre“The Firebird”). At the concerts she performed with great success pas-de-deux from the ballets “Don Quixote”, “Le Corsaire”, “Swan Lake”, choreographic miniature by C. Saint-Saens “The Dying Swan”.

1969-2018 – consultant, teacher-tutor at the A.V. Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School.

1980-2010 – teacher-tutor at the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Her students - leading ballerinas of the theater and soloists: M. Kadyrova, L. Li, A. Burakanova, G. Alieyva, B. Smagulov, M. Karakulova, L. Makartseva, S. Mirzabekova, R. Makhmutova, L. Alpiyeva, A. Sapugova, E. Khomkina-Safronova, G. Kurbanova, G. Kapanova, R. Tulegenova, Z. Umbetkulova, A. Mussinova and others.

1988-1990 – teacher-tutor at the Istanbul Opera and Ballet Theatre. Together with Ramazan Bapov, she was a teacher-tutor of the leading dancers of the theater: People's Artist of the Republic of Turkey Meric Sumen, the principal of the ballet Oktay Keresteci, the leading ballerina Hyulia Aksular and other ballet soloists.

1994-2012 – in parallel with tutoring at the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, she staged the scenes from classical ballets for the pupils of higher grades at the Ballet department of the Conservatory at the State University of Istanbul: For the private Ballet School “Kalamysh”, she staged a one-act ballet “Chopiniana”, snowflake scene from the ballet “The Nutcracker”.

Awards: Laureate of the Independent Award "Tarlan" of the Club of Patrons of Kazakhstan in the nomination "Theater", the degree of recognition "For Contribution". At the solemn ceremony on January 27, 2007, the Award was presented by People's Artist of the USSR Vasily Lanovoy.
