Biography

12.02.1953, Petropavlovsk, North Kazakhstan region.

Production designer. Winner of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Kazakhstan (1986).

1974 – graduated from Alma-Ata Art School.

1974-1987 – production designer, set-designer, Head of the propshop, Head of production unit of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Participated in the preparation and production of scenery and props for opera and ballet performances, prepared estimates and projects of new productions.

1983 – designer of the ballet “The Three Little Pigs” by Sanyat Kibirova, choreography by Mintai Tleubayev.

1985 – production designer of the ballet “Eternal Flame” by Serik Erkimbekov, choreography by Mintai Tleubayev.

1985 – member of the art and production group of the CC LYCL of Kazakhstan. Participated in the preparation of the opening ceremony of the XII World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow.

1986 – he conducted a tour of the Dresden Opera House at the Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Abay.

In creative collaboration with choreographer Mintai Tleubayev he staged ballet performances in Moscow, Leningrad, Minsk, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnoyarsk, Bishkek, Petrozavodsk, Chelyabinsk.

In 1994 he moved for permanent residence to the Russian Federation. He worked in various Moscow design and printing companies, and was engaged in computer graphics.

In 2012 he retired.
