SALIMOV Radik Fendesovich

Biography

(06.01.1975 Nizhnekamsk, RF) – composer. Honored Artist of the RT, Laureate of the Russian Competition of Composers, member of the Union of Composers of the RF and the RT.

Graduated from the S. Saydashev Nizhnekamsk Musical College in accordion class, N. G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory, composition class of prof. R. Kalimullina (2000).

Participated in the creation of 7 films. Author of music for the one-act ballets “Immatra”, “Pianophrenia”, “Step into the Void”; to the performances of Timur Bekmambetov “Khoja Nasreddin”, “Vaudeville” at the Theater for Youth; to the first Tatar ethnomusical “Seven Pearls”; to the musical performance “Sacred Gardens” by G. Kovtun.

Salimov R. is the composer of the ballet “The Snow Queen”, created at the “Astana Ballet” Theatre in 2022 (choreography by G. Kovtun).
