Biography
(03.11.1985, Gulistan, Uzbekistan) – ballet dancer. Honored Figure of Kazakhstan (2019).
She graduated from the A. V. Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School, class of the teacher I. N. Gulyaeva (1995- 2003), Bachelor program on specialty “Ballet Pedagogy” (2018-2021) and Master’s program in Choreography (2021-2023) at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.
She was accepted to the troupe of the K. Baiseitova National Opera and Ballet Theater (2003-2010). She performed a number of solo and leading roles in the ballets: “Chopiniana”, “Carnival”, “La Bayadère”, “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, including in the premiere performance “La fille mal gardee” as Lise (choreography by Y. Grigorovich).
In 2007, she completed an internship at the La Scala Theater (Milan, Italy). 2010-2015 – soloist of the ballet troupe “Ballet du Capitole” (Toulouse, France), performed solo parts of the classical, neoclassical and modern repertoire: “Raymonda”, “Scottish Symphony”, “Allegro Brilliante” by G. Balanchine; “Naples”, “Flower festival in Genzano” by A. Bournonville; “For you I die” N. Duato; “The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude” by W. Forsyth; “Giselle” (Giselle) M. Rann and N. Glushak; “A Million Kisses on My Skin” by D. Dawson; “Swan Lake” (Odile), “La Bayadère” (Nikia – Act III) by R. Nureyev; “Symphony of Psalms”, “Little Death” by J. Kylian; “The Rite of Spring”, “Storm” (Ariel) by M. Weinroth.
Since 2016 she is the leading soloist of the “Astana Ballet” Theatre. Dancer of the premiere performances at the “Astana Ballet” Theater: “The Legend of Love” as Shirin (choreography by Y. Grigorovich), “Serenade”, “Concerto Baroque”, “ Capriccio for Piano and Orchestra” (choreography by G. Balanchine), In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated” (ch. by W. Forsythe), “Touch of Illusion”, “Diversity” (choreography by R. Amarante), “The Nutcracker” as Masha (choreography by V. Vainonen), “Walpurgis Night” as Maenad (choreography by G. Kovtun), “Cinderella” as Cinderella (choreography by N. Kalinina), “Love’s Lost Idols” (choreography by N. Fonte), “Orpheus and Efridice” as Eurydice (choreography by K. Paulin), etc. The repertoire includes the one-act ballets by R. Amarante: “Love Fear Loss”, “A Fuego Lento”, a number of concert numbers and divertissements.
Awards: Winner of the honorary medal “Khalyk algysy” (2020), Winner of the International competition of ballet dancers “Baiterek” (Astana, 2006), Winner of the National Theater Award “Sakhnager-2017” in the nomination “Best Ballet Dancer” (2017), Winner of the Prize of theater critics of the RK “Ballet Dancer of the Year” (2022).
