Biography

TSKHAI Alexandra Sergeyevna (14.08.1988, Alma-Ata) - ballet dancer, ballet master, director-choreographer, teacher, researcher. Doctor of Philosophy PhD (2016).

She graduated from the Bachelor's program of the T.K. Zhurgenov KazNAA, specialty "Teacher-Choreographer" (2005-2009); Master program (2009-2011) on specialty "Choreography", PhD program on specialty "Art History" (2012-2015), scientific supervisor G.Yu. Saitova.

2010-2012 - soloist of the ballet of the State Republican Korean Theater of Musical Comedy, performed solo dances in concert programs and performances. She acted as a production director of cultural events: Opening of the VII Winter Asian Games (Astana, 2010); Solemn event dedicated to the Day of Solidarity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan with the participation of the President of the State (Almaty, 2012). Productions: “Kazakh dance” for the Korean ensemble “Bidulgi” (2010), Korean dances “Puche-chum”, “Elegy” as part of the presentation of the Astana Ballet Theater with the concert program “Oriental Rhapsody” (2013).

2009-2012 - teacher of the department "Pedagogy of Choreography" at the T.K. Zhurgenov KazNAA; 2017 - teacher of choreographic disciplines of the Department "Variety Vocal" and the Department "Pedagogy of Choreography" of T.K. Zhurgenov KazNAA; 2012-2013 - Deputy Director of the Astana Ballet Theatre; 2014 - Advisor to the President of the Fund JSC "N. Nazarbayev Fund for the Spiritual Development of the Peoples of Kazakhstan".

She is the author of the monograph "Korean stage dance in the choreographic art of Kazakhstan" in collaboration with G.Yu. Saitova (2019) and publications in the International and Republican scientific journals; co-author of the joint monograph "Dance culture of the Turkic peoples" (2021).
