Biography

17.08.1961, Ushtobe, Karatal district, Taldy-Kurgan region.

Ballet dancer, teacher-choreographer.

Honored Artist of Kazakhstan (1993).

1971-1979 – student of the Alma-Ata Choreographic School, teachers: R.M. Elchibekova, K.N. Andosov, D.T. Nakipov, M.E. Gomza.

1994-1997 – student of T.K. Zhurgenov Kazakh State Institute of Theater and Cinema, specialty "Teacher-Choreographer" (1994-1997).

1979-1984 – soloist of the Kazakh State Classical Dance Ensemble of the Kazakh SSR “Young Ballet of Alma-Ata”.

Repertoire: Red Army soldier ("Remember", choreography by O. Sokolov), Hamlet, Polonius ("Hamlet", choreography by B. Ayukhanov), Son of the Deer ("Son of the Raven and Son of the Eagle", choreography by A. Polubentsev), Prodigal Son ("Prodigal Son", choreography by Mai-Ester Murdmaa (Tallinn), Rose ("The Vision of the Rose", choreography by K. Seregeyev, N. Dudinskaya). Concert numbers: pas-de-deux from the ballets "Don Quixote", "Esmeralda", "Le Corsaire”, “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, “Saber Dance” from the ballet “Gayane”, etc.

1983-1984 – soloist of the ballet at the Abay SAOBT. He made his debut as the Young man in the ballet "Chopiniana" (Prelude and 7th Waltz) in a duet with M. Mukhametkaliyeva.

1984-1985 – service in the Soviet Army in the Red Banner Far Eastern Military District (SA KVDO, Artyom, RSFSR) as a senior radio telegraph operator. 1985-1986 - by the Order of the District Headquarters, he was transferred to serve as a ballet dancer in the Song and Dance Ensemble SA KVDO (Khabarovsk, RSFSR), where for the last six months he was the commander of the military service department in the ensemble.

1986-2001 – soloist, leading soloist of the ballet at the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Since 1991 – stage master at the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Repertoire: Prince Siegfried ("Swan Lake"), Prince Desire ("Sleeping Beauty"), Prince ("The Nutcracker"), Basil ("Don Quixote"), Albert ("Giselle"), Conrad (first performance on the stage of the Abay KazSAOBT, "Le Corsaire", choreography by V. Vladimirov), Vaslav, Nurali, Khan Girey ("The Fountain of Bakhchisarai"), Paolo, Giotto ("Francesca da Rimini"), Young man ("Paquita"), Young man ("Chopiniana"), Spartacus ("Spartacus"), James ("La Sylphide"), Count Rezanov, Holy Fool ("Juno" and "Avos"), Ishpaka ("Frescoes"), Syrym and Narsha ("Karakoz"), Pinkerton ("Madama Butterfly”), Alfred (“The Lady of the Camellias”), Othello (“The Moor’s Pavane”), Anthony (first performance, A. Arensky “Egyptian Nights”, choreography by Z. Raibayev), Soloist (first performance, R. Shchedrin “Naughty Limericks”, choreography by Z. During the tour, he often danced on the stages of the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR and the Mariinsky Theater. On April 13, 1996, on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR, M. Tukeyev in a duet with the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Sarkytbayeva danced the leading roles in the ballet "Giselle" with the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater.

Among the leading ballerinas who danced in a duet with M. Tukeyev: G. Tutkibayeva, L. Alpiyeva, K. Sarkytbayeva. The dancer had the honor to dance the performance "Giselle" with the People's Artist of the USSR Nadezhda Pavlova, Margarita Kulik.

As a production ballet master, he staged the dance scenes "Pastoral", "Shepherds", "Counterdance" in P. Tchaikovsky's opera "The Queen of Spades"; transferred to the stage of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre the one-act ballet "Paquita" (choreography by M. Petipa), scene "Snowflakes" in the ballet "The Nutcracker" (choreography by V. Vainonen); revived the ballet "The Three Little Pigs" (choreography by M. Tleubayev).

Since 1993 – teaching activities in the ballet troupe of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

1996-2002 – Head of the ballet troupe and part-time stage carrier.

Since January 3, 2001 – Director of the ballet troupe of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

2002-2016 – inspector-tutor, production ballet master.

2002- having finished his stage career, he continued to work as a teacher-tutor at the theatre, and also began teaching classical and duet-classical dance at the A.V. Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School.

2010-2011 – teacher-tutor and part-time assistant ballet master of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

2015-2016 – consultant on special disciplines of the T. K. ZhurgenovKazakh National Academy of Arts.

2016-2021 –Head of the “Directing” Department of Choreography Faculty of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

2017-2021 – part-time teacher-tutor of the "Astana Ballet" Theatre.

Since April 9, 2021 – Acting director of the A.V. Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School.

Author of the research works, including research articles and reports at the International scientific and practical conferences.

Awards: Laureate of the International Festival of Arts "Golden Autumn" – (Kyiv, Ukraine, 1983); Diplomas for preparing students for the International Ballet Competitions (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2014).
