Biography
(05.09.1951, Mamyt village, Novorossiysk district (Khromtau), Aktobe region) - dancer, teacher, researcher. Honored Artist of the KazSSR (1987), Candidate of Art History (2006), professor (2018).
Graduated from the Republican Studio of Circus and Performing Art (1971), teachers: M.N. Shatlovsky, M.P. Gabel, G.B. Kiyakova; T. Zhurgenov State Institute of Theater and Cinema (1999) on specialty “Choreography Directing”, studio of B.G. Ayukhanov (Diploma with honors).
Her creative path began at the Aktobe Regional Philharmonic (1968-1969). Soloist in the "Sherter" folklore ensemble of the Torgai Regional Philharmonic (1971-1976), the "Armandastar" pop and youth ensemble of the Tselinograd Regional Philharmonic Society (1976-1982), the "Sazgen" folklore ensemble (1982-1985). In the period 1985-1995 - soloist (1986-1988) in the "Altynay" State folk dance ensemble, 1986-1988 - head of the team. In addition to solo compositions, she danced in a duet with Usen Makanov, and their program was created in 1984 and consisted of Kazakh folklore and ethnographic dances.
Diploma winner of the XII World Festival of Youth and Students (Moscow, 1985); winner of the International Festival in Belgium (Tournay, 1989).
She made a huge contribution to the revival of the Kazakh folklore dances: "Zheztyrnak", "Kylyshpan-bi", "Kelinshek", "Kusbegi dauylpaz", "Shalkyma", "Ayda, bylpym" etc., which made up the main repertoire of the "Altynay" SFDE. In creative tandem with O.V. Vsevolodskaya-Golushkevich they conducted researches and collected the forgotten dance movements of the Kazakh dance, on which basis a lot of stage images related to the folk motives, were created. In her performance, folklore dances on the kuis of folk composers remained in the memory of the viewer thanks to the performing style and expressive plasticity of her hands. She took part in the Decades of Culture, government concerts of Kazakhstan in the Union republics (Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine), performed during the tour in CIS and other countries.
Since 1998, she worked as a teacher at Zh. Elebekov Republican College of Circus and Performance Art.
2000-2011 - teacher at KazSWPU, in the period 2006-2011 - Head of choreography department.
2011-2016 - professor of the Kazakh National University of Arts.
2013-2016 - Head of choreography department;
Since 2016 - professor of the directing department of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, since 2018 - Head of scientific and methodological laboratory of Kazakh dance at the Academy.
She is the author of the books and research works “Uakyt zhane bi oneri” (2006), “Memlekettik “Altynay” bi ansambli” (2010), “Orkeni osken bi oneri” (2009), the author of the textbook on the Kazakh dance “Kazakh biin okytudyn theoriyasi men adistemesi" - "Theory and methodology of teaching Kazakh dance" (2012 in co-authorship with Kulbekova A.K.), "Kazakh zhane shet el khoreografiya onerinin tarihi damu kezenderi" (2016), she has more than 60 scientific publications.
The dance director of Kazakh folk dances: State Folk Dance Ensemble "Altynai" (Almaty), "Shalkyma" (Astana) "16 kyz", "Kokshetau" (Kokshetau), "Zhorga" (Aktau), "Akku" (Karaganda), staged a number of numbers for regional ensembles.
During the pedagogical activity, more than 200 choreographers have been trained. For the first time, he developed a curriculum on the history of national choreography.
Since 2014, he has been a member of the Slavic Intercultural Research Group within the framework of the international scientific project "Culture: Society, Leadership and Subject in Kazakh and Hungarian Culture".
Awards: Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR (1974); Labor Veteran medal (1990); Badge "Y. Altynsarin" (2014); "Khalyk algysy" (2020), medal "Eren enbegi ushin" (2022).
