ZHORGА DANCE ENSEMBLE

Biography

The ensemble was organized in 2014 in the SE "Murat Uskenbayev Mangistau Regional Philharmonic", Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Mangystau Region. The founder of the ensemble is the holder of the badge "Excellence in culture of the RK" S. M. Sariyev, the Head is A. Zh. Sariyeva.

The repertoire of the ensemble includes choreographic, vocal and choreographic compositions, story dances, Kazakh dance heritage and dances of the world's peoples.

The team is a participant in the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in the CIS and foreign countries, performed on tour in Azerbaijan (Shaki), Austria (Vienna), Turkey (Istanbul), United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi), Hungary (Budapest), Croatia (Zagreb), Bosnia and Herzegovina (Tuzla, Sarajevo), Serbia (Kragujevac), etc. Participated in the International festivals: "Awaza" (Turkmenistan, 2015), "Turkic World" (Turkey, 2019, 2022), "Keles-2022" (Turkey).

The ensemble is the Laureate of the II Prize of the Republican Dance Competition "Buran Bel" (Shymkent, 2014); winner of the Gold Medal of the Delphic Games (Uralsk, 2014); Laureate of the II Prize of the International Competition "Dance Show of the Caucasus - Dance of Friendship" (Vladikavkaz, Russia, 2015); Laureate of the III Prize of Nursulu Tapalova Republican Competition "Bidin nury - Nursulu" (Aktobe, 2016); Laureate of the III Prize of the International Festival "Burabay Summer Fest" (Kokshetau, 2016); winner of the Grand Prix of the International Folk Dance Competition "Osh 2019" (Kyrgyzstan, 2019); Laureate of the III Prize of the World Folk Dance Competition "Inegol" (Bursa, Turkey, 2022); winner of the Grand Prix of the International Competition "Dance super star" (Yerevan, Armenia, 2022).
