Biography
ZLOBIN Andrey Viktorovich (14.07.1963, Kerch) - set designer, painter, muralist, theater and film artist. Honored Art Figure of Ukraine (1998).
He graduated from the Crimean Art School (1982) and the Lviv Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts in the workshop of E.N. Lysik (1993).
Since 1983 he has presented his works at personal exhibitions in Paris (1993), Kyiv (2000, 2003, 2005). Since 1994, he has been a theater designer, set designer and author of painting scenery for many performances; since 1997 he has been working in film production, creating scenery for music videos and commercials.
He is recognized as a theater artist, worked as a production designer for performances at the Bolshoi Theater, the Mikhailovsky Theater, the National Operas of Ukraine, Macedonia, Latvia, M. Jalil Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre, "Imperial Russian Ballet", M. Mussorgsky Maly Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Perm Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, etc. Designer of ballet performances: "Invitation to an Execution" (1995), "The Rite of Spring" (1997), "The Nutcracker" (2000), "Raymonda" (2003, 2007), "Spartacus" (2008), "Faust" (2005), "Shakespearements" to the music of P. Tchaikovsky (2007) etc. At the "Kiev Modern Ballet Theater” he designed the ballet “Swan Lake” (modern version, 2013), the ballets “Underground” and “Ward No. 6” (2008).
At the "Astana Ballet" Theater he participated in the production of the epic ballet "Kozy Korpesh - Bayan Sulu" ("Poem of Love") to the music by A. Raimkulova (2021, choreography by G. Kovtun).
